The idea of iPostUbid was created when I started rehabbing houses. When I needed quotes for repairs I would go to “other” websites and the process was always so hard. I would get a quote from one contractor and I didn’t know if it was a good or bad price. I would get a list of three contractors, meet each one at the property, wait forever for quotes, and never get what I was promised.
This is when I got the idea for iPostUbid. Now I can post the jobs I need and wait on contractors to bid on the jobs in one place. I don’t have to schedule appointments. I can take pictures of what I need repaired or replaced. I can ask and answer questions to contractors on the app and make a quick decision. I pay for the service with the assurance that the contractor isn’t paid until I confirm it was done correctly.
Now I can get things done all over the house with ease: like mowing the lawn, replacing a ceiling fan, mounting a flat-screen tv, installing hardwood flooring, etc.
